Hello Guys. I live in Fresno, Ca and well, I have to go to Stanford Medical Center to take my grandmother. BUT, How can I get there? I dont want to drive, its too much. So what are my options? The bus or plane. The thing is that there is only buses to SF or San Jose, So how would I get from one of this places to the Stanford Med Center? ANyone wanna help please...

Dude, I'd drive... It's only 3 hours (I Yahoo Mapped it). I promise it wouldn't be that bad... I'm guessing the bus would just be a huge pain... but if you decide on that, you could always take a taxi from SF or San Jose.

I think the easiest is to take your bus into the Transbay terminal in SF, then transfer to the KX bus on the SamsTrans line which is an express bus to SFO and Palo Alto. It appears that one of the stops is either right at, or really near, the Medical Center.

By train: I would get off your bus in SF, then take Muni (N line) to the Caltrain depot, then take Caltrain to Palo Alto.

There is a shuttle in Palo Alto that can take you from the train station to Stanford.... I have never personally done it but I know people who have so check out this link:

I hpe that helps. I think it is doable if you don't want to drive. But if your grandmother is not feeling to well it could be a tiring trip making all of those transfers. Good luck 🙂
