Jeez, they want our letters sent to them within 10 days? I'm gonna have to harass my premed committee to send em out stat.

BTW if anyone's taken a glance at the supp, how are you entering AP credits in for the required coursework? AP for the semester hrs, and HS for year taken?

my undergrad awarded credit for APs so I just entered it as that. unfortunately i have to write the 10-line explanation of why my undergrad doesnt give lab credit for AP courses =(

Oh, OK sorry I thought it was kinda like AMCAS you know how no semester hours were entered, just AP credit. I have Chem credits, but my undergrad didnt give lab credit either... but they let us waive the labs thru some process. but no credit--Gleevac did you end up taking your lab or did you get a waiver? if you got a waiver what are you putting... thanks

I dont know what a waiver is. Do I have to call the school or something? I just explained my schools policy in the 10 lines provided. Should I be doing something else (ie getting the waiver you mentioned). How do I go about getting this waiver? Thanks!

Sorry Gleev, I think I didn't explain myself correctly. At my school, even if we have AP credit for both semesters of Chem, that doesn't exclude us from lab. If we don't want to take lab, we can apply for a waiver, and if we get it, we are exempt... but do not get the credit. So no semester hours or anything are recorded. There's just a little notation on my transcript that says "Waiver granted."
So my question is... You got credit for Chem, but no credit for lab per your school's requirements. So did you have to take lab or does your school exempt you from it (i.e. waive the labs for you) ? If so, I assume you aren't listing the labs underneath the requirements... you just filled out that little explanation box.-- is this right?

So what are you guys doing with that 25 line question... I mean, I too, have not really had too many hard experiences, but I'm sure I can come up with something, although it'll be weak at best.

Now I'm confused how they choose people to fill out secondaries ... when people with MUCH higher stats than me got rejection letters ... oh well, I'm still excited.![]()

I'm having the same problem, I can't submit even though on 7b I clicked "no" and explained my reasoning and why I took the classes I did... so I was going to call them Monday if its still not working....

anyone else having a problem submitting because of the application inspector? I need to add my organic lab requirement in 7b. but when I click "no" on "will the above coursework fulfill our pre-medical courses", the app won't submit. But if I click "yes" it will. Should I just go ahead and put "Yes" but leave the organc lab stuff in?

Just heard back, the woman (Patricia?) that I spoke with said to submit the application after clicking YES for 7B instead of NO, and I'm assuming that means the explanation will still be included. If not, I'm going to mail it to them I think.
