hey guys,

wondering how long it took for people who interviewed at stanford in the last month or so to hear back.....and did they call you like they said they would? Do they call you even if you don't get in or get on the waitlist?

I know they said 2-5 weeks, but i'm wondering when i should start counting the days because i have nothing better to do haha.

I would count on the five weeks, not the two. It took them about a month to call me. I interviewed in December and heard back mid-January. Good luck!!

Same here. I wish I could just withdraw! Actually, if this were any other school, I would've withdrawn by now. I just want to see if I actually get invited 😳

That's because they didn't start giving out acceptances until Jan 15.
I heard back 2 weeks after my interview, even though they said 3-5. Two of my friends also found out 2 weeks post-interview.

I don't remember anyone at the interview saying that they would call us to let us know if we are accepted. For those who have heard back positive, did they call you first, before you received their letter of acceptance? I am three painful weeks post interview and can barely stand the wait...help a brotha out Stanford!!

You should definitely try because, as I found out last week, there aren't any left until april, and it's first come first serve

I scheduled it on the status page even before I got the e-mail (yes, I was obsessively checking the status page). I don't think there was any problem with this, and I never even got the snail mail invite.

Yes, you will get a call and I heard 4 weeks post-interview, so don't start worrying until after the 5 week mark.

Three to six.

Three is probably rare--I interviewed before classes had resumed, and that was likely why our group was so small. If you interview on a Wednesday, when no classes are scheduled, you will probably have a tiny interview group as well.

I think they accept more like 25% of those interviewed...somebody posted last years numbers for me and of ~5000 apps, they interviewed 485 and accepted about 120 for a class of approx 85. at least we can tell our grandkids we were competitive enough to get invited. gl all.

I felt like an ASS talking to the Dean last night - I was so shocked I didn't act very thrilled. I started rambling about how I might not be able to make it to the 2nd Look Weekend. Oh well 🙂

Nope unfortunately no calls for me 🙁 I'll be waiting for my rejection/waitlist letter. But congrats Bob!! I'm glad somebody in our interview group got a call 🙂

Do they make acceptances until the very end of the interview season (end of April)? Or do interview for a waitlist spot? Any info would be great.
