Starting the Application Process

Ok, so it's about that time to start thinking about the AMCAS and TMDSAS (where applicable) applications. I was wondering where I could find a sample AMCAS application so I can start on the PS.

Also, what kind of timetable should I be setting for the entire application process? Is there some sort of succinct FAQ?

Start out by visiting amcas.org for some FAQ. There is no prompt for the PS although the word limit is about 1.5 pages. You just write about anything you think is relevant to tell admissions committee regarding your decision to go to med school and your unique candidacy. Submit ASAP, the app becomes available June 1st.

Actually the AMCAS comes out on May 3rd, but you can't submit it until June.
