is it hard to get into a medical school if you are not a resident of that state and don't have ties to it? i know that the uni of washington's website stated it accepted only 10% of out of state applicants.

Univ of Wash...its impossible unless you're wiche, but yes for the most part its harder to get into a school as an OOser.
