I recently saw an ad for a service that writes personal statements for premed students. Has anyone used this service? The [age looks very professional, but I am not entirely sure.

IMO not writing it yourself would be doing a disservice to your own application. Unlike those pointless secondary essays, your personal statement sets the stage for your interviews and forces introspection as to why you want to be a physician and why you would be a good one. What ColetheTroll is saying is that on SDN you can find numerous individuals ready and willing to read and critique your PS free of charge. Good luck!

Yea man, your the only one that can write your personal statement.
You write about your journey and what inspires you personally to become a physician. No one can write it for you, but everyone here on SDN can always review it which is good, because it will always need a new set of eyes to critique it.
