States where CRNAs can prescribe schedule 2s

One of my CRNAs is telling me there are states where they can prescribe schedule 2s in the outpatient setting. He noted New Mexico in particular. Any truth to this?

I am in NM, I am not aware of CRNAs prescribing, but wouldn't surprise me as NP and PA's can practice autonomously and rx Schedule II

Yes we as physicians need to ban together against this otherwise we will all be replaced by midlevels at half the pay in a number of years. Britain is now training nurses to perform surgery to make up for the shortage of surgeons. It’s getting bad my friends
