I will be applying for medical school next year, and am making my schools list.
I want to go to the cheapest medical school possible.
I want MD.

Illinois Resident
Biology Major
Big Ten School
37 Mcat
4.0 GPA
White

Any advice on schools for merit aid?
SIU is your least expensive in-state school, but depending on where your folks live/permanent address, you may not be a good candidate there. ECs and other "special snowflake" factors are part of the determination for aid offers.

Or you can establish permanent residency in Texas before applying.
