Are STDs a prominent part of medical school (please only answer if you have already begun med. school).

Are you talking about the curriculum, or about people actually getting them by having wild promiscuous sex? 😉

 This just keeps getting better.

No, I mean are STDs (SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES), a prominent part of the student body? Are they all around?

Yes, yes they are. And because of your latex allergy, you will catch one.

They will be once you start doing surgery with out wearing any gloves.

Agreed...someone has been watching Grey's Anatomy re-runs extensively...although I have no complaints about the grossly unprofessional behavior that occurs in the hospital...i do object to getting syphillis from cute nurses (not a reference to grey's)...and what is with the OP asking for med students in the PRE-ALLO forum...hmmmmm

This isn't about a latex allergy. There are non-latex condoms my partner and I use regularly. I imagine in med. school I can use non-latex as well. Does anyone know if STDs are rampant at medical schools???????????????

Well you have a partner and non-latex condoms so it shouldn't concern you much...right???

I wouldnt know. Most people tend not to brag about their chlamydia.

I plan on being more promiscuous in medical school. Are STDs prominent?

I say ditch the gloves and the condoms all together, who needs 'em? They just get in the way really. You never know when someone might sneak a latex std laden condom or glove in on ya.

I heard that med schools accept a number of STDs with high MCAT and GPA.

just wrap the twinkie and take your chances my man...no one has the answers you are looking for...and very few of us really want to find the answers out...

Med students generally know to wear a raincoat when its wet out (don't make me have to explain that to you)......and have little free time.....and many are in serious relationships (or too busy).....undergrad was your best shot buddy...its a shame most pre-meds miss out on that....

That is the best response ever...thanks for the laugh!

That'd be a great response for the interview question, "where do you see yourself in 5 years... ten years?" "I plan on being even more promiscuous than I was in medical school and banging everything in a skirt using non-latex condoms, of course."

Yes but what if I'm an STD with a low GPA and a high MCAT? Am I totally screwed?!

Have you considered DO schools? They are actively recruiting holistic STDs and tend to be a little more forgiving of low GPAs.

That will depend on your extracurriculars and personal statement! 🙄

I plan to be a ho, too. We should get together and swap STDs - but you're disqualified if all you have is cooties.

Wow! This is like the 10th RIDICULOUSLY hilarious thread we've had in the past month. They just keep getting better and better...almost as good as the "I asked my interviewer out on a date--am I screwed?" thread.
If the OP's troll status hadn't been previously revealed in the "latex disability" thread it would have been much better.
