I haven't been on SDN since I was a premed, now that I'm an M2 i'd just like to say... I hate my life.

Now that that's out of the way...on to my question.

I plan on using two sources for step 1 prep: First aid and Golijan RR pathology...is this enough to get me a good score, not passing but a legitimate competitive score?

Also how long do people realistically spend studying for step 1?

Since you haven't been on here for 2 years + maybe go to the Step 1 forum or search because this is the second most asked thread next to how to study in med school.

Most people say 6 weeks is enough, but each person is different. You will also absolutely want to get Uworld. Many people say that First Aid and Uworld are sufficient. It all depends on your goals and how much learning vs. reviewing you need to do though.
