i'm a preliminary medicine pgy1 trying to plan for taking the step 3 later this spring. i'd really like to hear any advice from esp pgy2's who took it as pgy1. what did you use for questions? usmle world vs kaplan vs a text of questions? what was your favorite review text. thanks in advance for any help.

crush step 3. read it and know. if you have had some ward months (especially an ICU month) under your belt by the time you take the exam you should be golden. also, see if you can get your hands on first aid for step 3. the back has 30 or so cases that will prepare you for the ccs section of the test.

just think, after you pass this exam you're licensed!
