Step 3 as a 4th year?

I have some extra time now that 4th year winds down and while it's still fresh in my head, and before insanity of residency starts, I'm wondering if it is a good time to knock out Step 3. Do you think it's feasible to do it (and pass?) while still in school? I did a standard deviation above the mean on 2CK.

Don't you have to be a physician (i.e. actually have an MD/DO degree) before you can sit for Step 3?
