Step 3 prior to residency

Is it possible to pass the exam before starting your intern year? Im done with my 4th year, above average scores on both step 1 and 2, and have a few months to kill before before July 1. I was thinking of getting step 3 out the way, but the CCS component has me kinda worried.

Any other students have the same feelings or have done what I'm attempting to do?
