Hi guys,
Hoping for some advice from those who have complete Step II CK (and passed!
). I scored above average on Step I but only by about 10 points, for background.
I am about to finish my MPH year, which I did between 3rd and 4th year. For reasons far too complicated to be explained here, I skipped OB my 3rd year and have to do in my 4th (my med school is 100% elective for the 4th year). I have no interest in OB as a career but have to spend some precious 4th year time to do it. I have some time (4-5 weeks) btwn finishing my MPH program and starting 4th year, so I'm considering studying for Step II. I will still be working part-time but I would have 3-4 days/week to devote completely to studying.
I don't really care about my score but would like to not drop my score below average. Any thoughts on taking it before OB and after a year off?
