Step III needed if ABSITEs are good for fellowship?

Didn't see anything specifically about this through search so thought I'd ask.

I'm a future DO starting MD gen surgery this summer. I took Steps I and II but didn't take the Step II CS to try and save some money, so won't be eligible for Step III. Of course I will/have taken the osteopathic equivalents and will/have done well. Since I will be taking the ABSITE multiple times will fellowship programs care that I will have taken the "osteopathic Step III" if my ABSITE scores and everything else is up to snuff?

They do not care about Step III - allopathic or osteopathic forms, as long as you pass. There are like 4 surgery questions on it.
