What do you mean by schedule? They assign you eligibility period of 3 months and you schedule the exam at your nearest Prometric center.

yes, search ecfmg.org, they have all the requirements. In my experience, in takes about 2-3 weeks to get approved for exam by ECFMG. As I understood, they now issue electronic permit, so you don't have to wait for the paper permit in the mail. Then log on with permit number to www.prometric.com and schedule the exam.
