Step2 CK test and scores timing

How long does it take for Step 2 scores to come back? I'm thinking about taking it in mid to late September. Will they come back in time to get me more interviews if I do well?

Is it more helpful to take a neuro or EM rotation or something else entirely prior to taking CK?

Pretty sure all USMLE scores take about 3 weeks (released 3rd Wednesday after your test). However, NBME has a tradition of updating their systems in July-August, so sometimes scores can be delayed up to 6 weeks during that time frame. You should call/message NBME to be sure.
