Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew how and when Stony and Downstate notify their students. I interviewed at Downstate 9/26 and at Stony 10/6. Does anyone have information on a time frame from last years cycle? Thanks!

This is what I need to know. I interviewed at downstate on 9/14, and I am very anxious. It seems that last year they got letters, no phone-calls...

my friends got calls from downstate around the 18th/19th last year. does anyone know when stony brook plans on notifying? they said they send their packages overnight....but today's the 15th 🙁 and there's nothing.

yeah, I'm interested also for Stony specifically since I have my downstate interview next mont, but interviewed at stony over a month ago

it probably wouldn't have gotten here today since they would have had to send it out the 14th, and this may be kinda technical, but sending it out the 14th would violate rules if the 15th means they have to send it out on the 15th, and today the 15th is saturday, so they wouldn't have sent it out today since they are closed
so hopefully this means they will send out first ones on Monday and we'd get them Tuesday

maybe I should stop thinking about this before I drive myself crazy...

Wow 18th or 19th? I have an interview on the 19th at Upstate. It would be pretty funny if the adcoms called me during my interview.

My interviewer was very nice. If theres any advice, read up on the feedback on SDN. They asked me alot of questions that were previously asked. Know your application, EC's and PS. Also read up on medical ethics, theres a good site on one of the stickies at the top of this board. Stony is known to as alot of ethical questions.
