Hello,

I have read previous posts on this subject and they all relate to lines of credit, which are kind of point less since you are paying interest monthly which is usuall prime + something. Does anyone know of an outlet that offers a student loan (without an american cosinger........since I know of none) not a line of credit.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and CanHelp is not an option. Since some problems in their company have restricted them recently from offering private loans.

there are none.
osap gives approx 10k/year.
otherwise, all US based loans will require a co signer.

What did you use?

I think I remember reading a post that you were considering TD, did you go through with that.

I find the fact that we are limited or really have no options very disheartening!!

yes, i went to td. declined!
they told me 99.9% applicants are rejected, if they don`t have a co signer. BUT, if your parents have an established history with the bank, your chances of having your loan approved are quite substantial.

i`ll be going through a US bank.
