Student loans...which loan provider?

Just wanted some advice on financial aid and student loan for med school. For those who have been through this, which loan provider is normally preferred among med students?

Many schools use their own loan provider, so check with your financial aid office.

My school uses medloans, which is sponsored by the AAMC, so it's easy to defer loans through residency....the loans are created for med students

Now that's for alternative loans, if you need to borrow more than $38,500 per year. If you need less than that, then you only need Federal Stafford Loans.
