Students in L.A. or other cities with a high cost of living

How do you make ends meet while going to dental school?
I'm single, have a car note, rent, and other living expenses.
L.A. is not the cheapest place to live.

If push comes to shove I can move to TX with my family, but I'd rather stay and go to school here.


I'm going to work for another year, before I start applying to schools.

That's quite a bit of money I'll need to borrow.

This will be the first time I have to a get loan for school. I need to get an idea of what the interest rates are like.
Yikes, I'll be in debt for a while!
