Study Abroad Experience in HS

Hey everyone,

If I studied abroad in Europe (with Rotary International) for a year during high school, should I mention this on my medical school application? I feel that it had a significant impact on my life. While there, I was able to spend some time in a doctor's office and the hospital.

The most you could mention is that experience really sparked your interest in medicine and then you subsequently volunteered at x hospital where I learned y. Or something to that effect.
