Anyone been to Effective Study Skills by James K. Semones lectures/seminars or used the book?

I have started reading his book on ESS and want to incorporate the advanced course into my studies. Seems like a good technique!

Wanted to know if anyone else has used or had comments!

I really like the ideas he implements and I'm looking at study skills to help me. Thanks!

Apparently not! I've never even heard of "effective study skills" until you mentioned it mshheaddoc.

Or you might try the studying for MCAT board for answers. I bet people would have more input there. Good luck!

I guess everyone just has natural studying abilities on this board? 😕

With all the memory techniques out there as well as study skill guides everyone is just naturally an overachiever on here? 😛 Come on peoples 🙂 I tried to reword this for more response. Dead boards on holidays make me sad.

That and too much adderall. 🙄

Sorry Mshheaddoc, I still have nothing pertinent to say.

I have no study skills. I go to class, do my homework and show up for exams. That's it.

I'm worried about how I'll study in med school. Maybe someone will post something helpful. I'll check the library for the books, though. 🙂

Aw, fine! I give in. I'll let you in on my study secret. I learn by osmosis.

Yes. I leave the book open on the table then I pound my head directly into the text, thereby some the the information will seep into my brain and increase my knowledge base. It hasn't worked so far. But I think it is because I failed to do this with EVERY page. I think that may be the key. I will keep you posted!
