Studying for the boards: Day 1: Goals for today: Review all of embryology by reviewing pertinent books and going over practice problems in Board Simulator Series. What actually happened: Set alarm for 8:30 am, didn't wake up until 11 am. Got to school at 12:30, and ate lunch from Burger King until 1:00. Starting playing saved computer game from yesterday and finished at 2:00 pm. Surfed the web, posted on SDN, chatted on AOL from 2:00-5:00 pm. Played some Snood, got dinner at 5:30. Took 1 hr and 30 minutes to eat dinner while surfing the web some more. Discovered Star Wars Jedi knight demo computer game while surfing the web and decided to download it. Played Jedi knight from 7 pm to 10 pm, at which point I got so motion sick from playing that game that I had to stop and go home. Got home, decided to call it a day. Goal for Day 2: go over what I didn't go over during day 1. The real purpose of this post is to point out that procrastination is a real disease that afflicts and debilitates millions of people out there. It's going to be a looong 6 weeks studying for the boards.
