My Kaplan center is a nice place to study. But I was wondering if they would mind if I studied from the EK books at their center? 😳

Most KAPLAN employees are just students earning their hourly wages.

No, they wouldn't mind at all.

Yeaaaa i dont think kaplan people would mind..however that's def an insulting act.lolol

I study at the NY kaplan center all the time like that. I whip out my old orgo textbook or the TPR book (for physics). Its not like they're going to kick you out. So you're not the only one 🙂

I think I'll atleast put a brown cover paper on my EK books lol.

This might sound tremendously stupid but what does EK stand for?? And are those any helpful compared to Kaplan because I'm taking Kaplan right now...

Thanks!

lol who cares. I mean we are paying to use their books and their library center, what we study is our business.

EK Stands for "Exam Krackers" another company that offers MCAT Test prep. From what I hear, they are helpful with their 1001 problems books.

they don't care...you payed them and if u want to use those books then it'll only help them boast about how great a score so and so got using Kaplan 🙄 ...i used TPR, EK and Kaplan when I was at the center.

just curiuos, do u need to have paid for a kaplan mcat course to use their center? like, do they check id or soemthing?

It depends on the center, and how the staff maintains things. You definitely need one if you want to use the AAMC materials.
