I have a rather specific question about studying medicine in Germany. I am getting my M.Sc. at an german university in neurosciences and am debating between doing a PhD or and MD afterwards. Anybody who was in a similar situation who can give me some advice? I like the prospects of becoming a medical doctor but am not familiar with the regulations for MSc graduates (from a German university) to apply for medical school. Also, what is the possibility of doing a MD/PhD? I am an US citizen and does not have EU citizenship or residency.
Thank you so much, I feel my situation is a bit more specific than trying to apply to medical school in Germany with an US bachelor degree, although I did get a bachelor degree in the US in biochemistry.
