Hi, so I am pretty sure this has been asked before, but I cannot find it and there are no recent threads. I am waiting for FAP approval, does submitting with just one school then adding the rest after FAP approval work? Will the FAP waive my primary and secodary fees even if I submitted before being approved, and only added the rest of the schools afterwards? Also, is the application fee waived completely, or do you still have to pay a bit for each school? Thank you!

As I understand it, wait for FAP approval before submitting anything. You are ready super early, you should wait.

Not Retroactive
Fee Assistance Program benefits are not retroactive. Benefits may only be applied after the Fee Assistance Program benefits have been awarded.
• No refunds will be issued for any fees paid before you have been approved for the Fee Assistance Program. (so in other words you can't use the FAP to go back and pay the fees of applications you made before it was awarded to you)
• Additionally, you will not be able to use your awarded medical school designations if your AMCAS application was submitted before your Fee Assistance Program application was approved.
• The AAMC is not responsible for any MCAT registration deadlines or medical school application deadlines you may miss while waiting for the review of your Fee Assistance Program application. If you have questions about whether your Fee Assistance Program benefits will be applied, contact AAMC before making a purchase

Just wait! When I applied back in April, it was a really fast turn around with my results (like 3 days).
