I know it's rather late. Anyone know how long it's taking to get verified? Anything else I can do to increase my chances other than checking the school specific trends and getting started on the secondaries? Thanks!

I would expect to wait at least 30 days before you get verified, maybe longer. You should make sure AMCAS has your LORs and if you pre-write secondaries then you can quickly complete your file at various schools as they send you secondaries.

You're looking at a month-long wait right now. I submitted on the 13th and was verified 10 days ago, but right now they're only through the 16th. Expect to be verified sometime in mid-late August.
