I am signed up to take a biology 2 course this summer titled "General Biology II: Biology of Organisms" and the topics covered are remarkably similar to the Anatomy & Physiology courses required for my major. It almost seems like a waste to take the class since it'll practically just be a refresher course, but I'm not sure what med schools are looking for. I was wondering if A&P 1 and 2 could be substituted for the bio 2 requirement. If that's not possible, are there any other biology courses that would substitute for the bio 2 requirement, or should I take it just to be safe?

Some schools might be picky. Just take it, and get the easy A.

Take Bio II to be safe, because some schools are picky on this subject and won't allow substitutions.
