What's the big deal, aside from the author's misuse of the term "homeopathic?" Many people, including myself, have been recommending this for years.

Not everyone who uses saline lavage can give up their prescription allergy medications as the article implies, however, particularly severe allergy sufferers.

I use nasal saline gtts, but when the pollen was in full bloom, saline did diddly for the itching, the watery eyes, coughing. Heck, even with Zyrtec I was still pretty miserable.
