Has anyone had to resort to setting up a dental unit at home due to no hours in the lab allowed? Any suggestions on what I should buy? It seems like there are portable dental units on Ebay but you also need to buy a compressor... I was just wondering if anyone has done it and what they might suggest. Thanks in advance!

I don't have experience setting one up. If you don't get any responses here, search "KC Does Dentistry" on youtube....she has some videos on a home setup.

You can get a lot of info from international dentist forum - they practice at home all the time. From what I know, you can buy a setup ready all inclusive on ebay for about $450 or so or buy things separately and compressor in Home Depot , which comes to about 1/3 of that
Obviously equipment is not long lasting, but good enough to practice
