I have been comteplating on doing or not doing a prematirculation program that galveston is offering. But at the same time, I have heard people say that I should just take the summer off and do something fun before starting med school. So I just want to get some thoughts from those who participated in some sort of prematriculation program before med school, and those who didn't but wished they did.

I saw your thread in the pre-allo forum too and I would say have a fun summer. You will be so sick of classrooms that you will want to pull your hair out. I had a great summer and did stuff that I have always wanted to do and I don't regret it for a second. I think pre-matriculant programs are great if you have been out of school for awhile but if you are coming straight or almost straight out of undergrad take a break and enjoy yourself.
