i need some advice on a summer calc I class i am just finishing up...i took it online and it was really hard to grasp the concepts without being able to ask real face to face questions...i'm going to end up with a B in the class.....which is ok...but the problem is i don't feel really confident with the concepts and we only made it 1/4 of the way through the book...should i take this again so i know what the heck im doing??? i need to fill space in my schedule next year anyway...or would i be wasting my time?

Are you planning to take Calc II? If not, I would definitely NOT take it again. You never use calculus later (except for a tiny tiny bit in physics, but even then it's no big deal). Take an extra bio or something that you like and get an A. 🙂

yeah i'm taking calc II...i wouldn't even be considering it but because i have a slot to fill in my schedule it seems like an ok idea....next year i am taking bio I and II and chem I and II...i am a sophomore and just decided on medicine...so i'm a little behind. i can't take any upper levels untill i take these two, and last year i took ALL of my distibution requirements.....but at the same time, i don't want to waste money on something u know??

You are totally not behind. Take something that you like, for heaven's sake.

If I were you, I'd just take real calculus because it doesn't seem like you really learned anything in that summer course. Judging from what you've said, it doesn't seem like you've really covered the full Calc I curriculum.
