I took 3 science courses during the summer after my freshmen year at a community college, but I never transferred those credits to my home institution because I took the same courses again, and they are not required for my degree work. I am concerned about this because adding the CC grades will actually lower my current GPA. Should I include those courses when I apply to medical school?

All college courses will count towards your AMCAS gpa, regardless of if you transferred the credits to your home institution. AMCAS requires transcripts from every college attended.
