Summer Internship during application cycle?

Hello! I was wondering what would be the best way to include information about an internship completed during the summer you apply. As I will have barely started by the time I submit (applying summer 2021) should I wait to send as an update in August after its over? Or is there a way to list this as projected/future hours? I just don't know if projected/future hours are limited to something youve already done

Applying this cycle, and in my case, I had my summer internship start in June, and you are allowed to put an activity that extends into the future as long as the start date is the current month or earlier. As soon as it hit June 1, I could list the activity as June - August, and then I could just put the expected hours. I don't know what internship you have, but you should be able to talk generally about what you'll be doing for the summer in the activity description.
