What should I be looking for right now as a college soph for a summer job?

-summer research fellowship is always a good idea.
-you could travel (or study abroad). Unfortunately, I didn't get to do this, but many people benefit from such experience.
-volunteering abroad is something i never got to do

Actually I have a question for those who have already graduated from undergrad. Are there summer research fellowships for people who have already got their BS? Thanks for your help =)

Getting a research job might be difficult without either having research experience or knowing a PI. I second the study/volunteer/travel abroad.

Exactly my question, I made a thread on it ... so far, only a sarcastic reply

Hey now, I was being dead serious. Maybe "time off" doesn't mean anything to you now, but I'll betcha anything that when you're 45 and working 80 hrs/wk you'll really wish you'd taken those few months for a last hurrah.

You can do research internships at NIH post-BA. See their website for student employment.
