I just realized that I make no mention in my AMCAS application of the various summer jobs I had in high school and college. While the jobs gave me no clinical or volunteer experience, will admissions committees think I did nothing during those summers? Should I send all 18 schools I applied to a letter restating my interest in their school and highlighting these odd jobs I had?

Bear in mind I'm also 24 & two years out of college. I already have a lot of post-secondary experiences to speak of.

Thanks!

I don't think they'll care about what you did in highschool, but the college jobs might be significant. If you really just did odd jobs, nothing consistent, I wouldn't worry about it, but if you had some significant experiences I'd probably let the schools know. I doubt they'd notice that you didn't say you had jobs during the summer and think you're a slacker, especially since you've been out of college for a while. I'm sure they'll be much more concerned with what you've done since graduation.

I don't think thats wise. Leave it be. If you send it in I think that some eyebrows will be raised.

if there was some job that you found significant, you could include it in some of your secondaries, especially if schools have that "is there anything else you'd like to tell us about yourself" question, otherwise, just leave it be.

I dont see how "I worked the summer of 00' at Denny's, then worked on a railroad the summer of 01', and then frequented a nice Dunkin Donuts the summer of 02'" will help.
