Summer...

I know it is very early and quite premature to think of this, but what are people planning on doing this summer (for those intending to go to school starting this Fall)? Hoping to God that I get in somewhere, I think I would just like to do something relaxing and enjoyable for the summer. I know some schools offer opportunity for research or something the summer before 1st year but I don't think I'd want to do that. it's one of the only opportunties i'll have to just relax and spend my time however I want...but whatever I do, I have to make some money! Has anyone else thought of this, or am I the only one sitting here on my Christmas break thinking of summer!?

No, you're not the only one thinking about summer plans. I may take a class or two during the summer or do some research. Hey, maybe even I'll enjoy my summer and relax from all the stress by watching my favorite soap.

This summer will probably be my last summer lifeguarding --catching some rays and getting paid well to boot....ahh I wish I could do it for the rest of my life

I'd like to hike the Long Trail, a trail that runs 270 miles along the Green Mountains in Vermont, from Massachussets to Canada ( <a href="http://www.hikevermont.com/" target="_blank">http://www.hikevermont.com/</a> ). I've hiked sections of it, but I'd like to do the whole thing in one fell swoop.
