Suny Buffalo-81% Post Interview Acceptance?!!

I remember reading something online which said that Buffalo interviews 450 and takes 380 or something (~81%). I interviewed there really late-3/12-and was wondering if i still fare those great odds even at such a late stage of the game. Also, is this a grievious error in statistics; I have never seen anything like this and also, SUNY Buffalo was rated as the top SUNY school.

Does anybody know anything about this at all.

I'm a SUNY undergrad...and I know for a fact that Buffalo accepts many of the people that they interview. I know several people from the senior class who got acceptances to the school. I'll definitely be applying to Buffalo as well as the other 3 SUNY schools next year.

Know anything about the waitlist structure over there. I believe there are three tiers. Is it that the people that aren't accepted are just flat out rejected or is everyone placed on the waitlist and from that it ends up having too many people. They stuck my sorry arsse on the bottom third and wouldn't give me a straight reason why.
