Greetings to all fellow future SUNY Buffalo M1s! For those of us who were not able to attend the housing weekend, could those of you that did attend post some information about what you saw, who you met, what you learned etc.? Thank you in advance for any information you have.

I couldn't make it either - I got married this weekend! (Woohoo!) Did anyone mention any sublets available or where to find one? I'm looking more and more homeless until the end of Septemeber.

AWWWWW! Congratulations on your marriage! If you need a place ASAP for only a short time you should check out www.kendev.com

They have short term leases (weeks to months) at some of their properties. I used to live at the Sheriden Residence. It's not great, but it can help you out of a jam if you have nowhere else to go. Also check out http://www.subboard.com/och/search/search.asp

This is the UB off-campus housing information. The prices will be cheaper, but the lease terms may be more rigid. Good luck! 😀

hey,
i wasn't at housing weekend either but i did wind up going up to find a place on my own (successfully). i went up and got some help from a local family friend with regard to which areas might be best to live in and did a lot of driving around to check out different apartments and different types of places. if you want specific info, you can send me a message. i'm still new to sdn, so if that doesn't work i'll post an email. good luck and congrats on the wedding hsouth!!
