hey guys i only have a few more day until the shelf, which nms casebook chapters should i focus on? i am also doing kaplan notes and usmle world and for uworld do i need to do the IM sections on GI?

I would strongly suggest the IM GI quesitons if you have time. I would pay close attention to the pre-op/post-op and trauma sections of Casebook and ignore anything that is very technical such as names of surgical procedures or exactly how you go about doing a procedure.

I would personally just burn through the whole casebook if you have not. It took me about 12 hours all told, as much of the 400 pages is filled with diagrams and tables. You can then go back and review the trauma stuff in detail. I also liked the algorithms in case files. A bit slash and burn, but it worked well for me.

Pestana notes are the most high yield.

Pestana notes, NMS Casebook chapters on preop, postop, trauma, breast. The end of the book, last 3-4 chapters, are very high yield.
