Hello everyone. I will be starting surgical transport next week. I will be assisting medical teams with gurneys to and from surgery/ICU/Recovery and help them with other related tasks. Since this job requires close contact with physicians I was wondering if it would straddle the clinical experience/volunteering divide...And yes I will be able to "smell" patients :laugh:

Yep.
Wouldn't hurt to do some shadowing as well though.
