Switch LOR to school after submitting?

One of my schools only allows 6 LORs. I selected the 6 before receiving a copy of the 7th one, a late addition from someone I only recently worked with. I worked with her at the free clinic and she wrote me an excellent LOR. Is it possible to somehow switch out one of the 6 I've already assigned to school A, with the new 7th one (which is on its way to AMCAS)?

If there is no such way to switch, would it be in poor form to send a 7th one to this school even though they say the limit is only 6? I think I know the answer but I'd still appreciate input from people with experience. Thanks.

Put on your big boy pants, call the school, explain your situation. Only they can tell you the answer. Schools like upfront, responsible people and it can only help you to ask instead of blatantly breaking one of their expectations.
