"UTMB is in full recovery mode and plans are taking shape for each of the schools to resume operations as soon as possible. As it stands now, the School of Medicine will be closed for at least the next two weeks.
According to Dr. Jeff Rabek, Assistant Dean for Admissions at UTMB, interviewing scheduled for the next two weeks have been postponed. If you are scheduled to interview, you should have received an e-mail from UTMB explaining the situation. All interviews will be rescheduled as soon as possible. You will receive further e-mail correspondence from UTMB regarding the rescheduled interviews.
The UT Houston Medical School will resume all operations Monday, September 22, 2008. Medical school interviews scheduled for Friday, September 19th have been postponed. Applicants scheduled to interview on that date will be rescheduled on an individual basis. All affected students will be contacted via e-mail to reschedule their interview.
