Taken Time Off, Secondaries, Summer

Im looking at Yeshiva's Secondary and im wondering what qualify as time off. Ive only taken one summer quarter off in my undergraduate years. Does that qualify as time off?

I know very little about this, so don't take my word at face value, but I'm pretty sure that 'time off' is time between your undergrad and your application to med school, not summers. Or perhaps even between high school and undergrad. Especially since quite a few people take all summers off in their undergrad.
