Taking a Job as a Research Coordinator at a Dental School?

Taking the job won't help you due to your low GPA. In addition, due to the fact that you applied to medical school (and were accepted), you need to show commitment to the field. Your SMP gpa is low. My recommendation is to shadow more and take night classes.
 
I agree with JLT223. Another thing that won't hurt is to call the admission offices of the schools you're interested in. Some can be very helpful, and it's always good to get the opinion of people who are actually in charge of admitting students.
