taking Calculus I in sophomore year?

I won't be able to take calculus till atleast the fall of my sophomore year, because I've to take prequistes and stuff. Will my MCAT scores be hurt because of that?

There is no calculus on the MCAT. The only advanced math I can think of on there would be logs, but I think they are actually part of pre-calculus.

logarithms are actually taught in algebra II

In college the class would be either called "College Algebra" (the first part of pre-cal) or just "Pre-calculus". Algebra II is high school course, where you get relatively acclimated to logarithms.
