I'm from UCSD and I'm not sure what the policy is at other schools but here at UCSD they let you take non-major classes with a pass/fail grade. I'm taking a history class for GE requirements that I don't particularly enjoy. I'm not one to do very well in these type of courses either so I'm thinking about taking it pass/fail instead of maybe hurting my GPA. Would adcoms frown upon this?

Thanks,

Thanks,

i was planning on doing the same thing!

As long as you don't take a lot of classes pass/fail, it shouldn't be a problem.
