Hey everyone! I currently go to hunter college in New York City which is apart of the CUNY system, which contains 10+ colleges, including Hunter. We have thing where we can take courses at other CUNY courses and it would count towards your degree. So have already taken physics 1 at CUNY Baruch College (can't take bio1 here because its full). Now i want take bio1 at CUNY staten island college. My question is, does this look bad on application that i took courses from 3 different colleges, or would it not matter. Is this frowned upon by adcoms? Are there any other CUNY students who have experience with this that can help out.

p.s I don't want to take bio 100 at Hunter because i already took it and failed, it is astronomically hard here (if you don't believe me, just check out the reviews on ratemyprof, she's the most reviewed teacher)

It doesn't matter at all if you take your courses from different colleges, as long as they aren't community colleges.

I actually got all my pre-reqs done in about 16 months by stacking my classes (I work full time and have two kids) so that there was overlapping and no gaps. I ended up taking my prereqs at four schools because of their schedules fitting into my timeline the way I needed them to. I don't know if it 'looks bad' but getting all the transcripts into AADSAS was pretty annoying and tedious. It took a month to get all my ducks in a row.
