Taking English Pre-requisite at CC ?

Most of the other questions i've seen regarding pre-req's at CC deal with science pre-reqs. Does it matter to med schools if I take most of my english pre-reqs at CC? I'm a student at UC Berkeley, and I took the first quarter of Humanities (our equivalent of English lit or comp), and I wish to take the rest of the series at CC. Will this make any difference to my admissions chances?

I took Gen Chem and Physics elsewhere and it never hurt me. I don't see why English would hurt you.
